Welcome to the 23rd Excellence in Services International Conference!<\/span>
\nKnown in the past as Toulon-Verona Conference, the Conference was\u00a0rebranded in 2017 for its 20th anniversary to highlight Excellence in\u00a0Services as the peculiar research field of the Conference.<\/span><\/p>\n

Both academics and practitioners are welcome to discuss current\u00a0issues, exchange information, knowledge, and experiences across the\u00a0various domains of services.<\/span>
\nParticipants will find the opportunity to present their studies in a\u00a0friendly and informal atmosphere.<\/span>
\nWe invite authors to submit their papers from all relevant areas of\u00a0focus of the Conference.<\/span><\/p>\n

Scope of the Conference<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

Academics, researchers, managers, administrators, support staff in the areas of focus of the Conference are invited to submit theoretical contributions, empirical analyses, experiences, case studies or reflections aimed at quality and excellence in services.<\/p>\n

All submissions must be written in English<\/strong>, the official language of the Conference.<\/p>\n

Keynote speakers<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

The \u201cExcellence in Services International Conference\u201d will welcome Professor Dwayne Gremler of Bowling Green State University, <\/strong>Ohio, USA, and a speaker from Portugal<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Publication opportunities and awards<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

All submitted papers will be published with an ISBN number<\/strong> in\u00a0the Conference Proceedings Book<\/strong>, freely available on the\u00a0Conference website.<\/span><\/p>\n

Each paper will also be singularly\u00a0indexed in Google Scholar<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

After the Conference, the Scientific Committee will\u00a0select the best papers, including PhD papers with the\u00a0opportunity of publication in the cooperating journals:<\/span><\/p>\n

Submission<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

Participants who wish to present their research at the Conference are welcome to send\u00a0an<\/span> abstract<\/span> <\/strong>in word format (.doc or .docx) of no more than 200 words according to the\u00a0<\/span>Abstract template <\/strong>(chick here<\/a>)<\/span><\/span>. Abstracts should be sent\u00a0by e-mail by<\/span> April 30, 2020<\/em><\/strong><\/span>\u00a0at the latest to<\/span>\u00a0jma.martin@wanadoo.fr<\/em><\/span>.\u00a0All abstracts will be acknowledged and authors will be notified of the reviewers\u2019\u00a0comments.<\/span><\/p>\n

Papers<\/span> <\/strong>have to follow the<\/span> Paper format<\/span><\/strong> (chick here<\/a><\/span>)<\/span>. The deadline for full paper submission is<\/span> June 30, 2020<\/strong><\/em><\/span>.<\/p>\n

Every author (or where there are multiple authors, at least one\u00a0author) must present their paper during the parallel sessions of the\u00a0Conference. Failure to do so will result in the paper\u2019s exclusion from\u00a0the Conference Proceedings Book.<\/span><\/p>\n

Conference venue<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

The Conference will take place at \u201cthe University of Coimbra\u201d, Centro Cultural Dom Dinis, Largo Marqu\u00eas de Pombal, Coimbra, Portugal.<\/strong>
\nThe Gala dinner will take place on Thursday 3 September.<\/p>\n

Costs and registration<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

The delegate fee is 350 \u20ac<\/strong> (200 \u20ac for Master\/PhD Students and CNAM affiliates), covering\u00a0access to all daytime Conference sessions, Conference proceedings, lunches,\u00a0refreshments, and gala dinner.<\/span>
\nSpecial offer:<\/strong> The fee is reduced to 300 \u20ac<\/strong> (150 \u20ac for Master\/PhD Students) if payment is\u00a0made before June 30, 2020. Access is free for session attendants without materials and catering services.<\/span><\/p>\n
