Maria Caterina Baruffi is Full Professor in International Law at the University of Verona, Law Department, where she teaches European Union law, Advanced EU law and Advanced International law. Her fields of research cover various aspects of EU law, from general matters regarding EU institutions and competences to more specific policies such as family law, competition and labour law. She has been directing the European Documentation Centre in the same University since 2007 and has been a practising lawyer since 1996, developing also a solid expertise on practical matters.
Over the years she has been building a strong network of contact with both academics and legal practitioners, organising several events regarding EU law. She has participated in and coordinated many research projects, developing valuable skills in managing teamwork and cooperation.
