Francesca Gelmini (Milan, 1992) graduated with honours at the University of Milan in 2016, discussing a dissertation in European law.
Francesca enhanced her formation by spending one semester as an exchange student at the University Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and she attended two different summer schools in Competition law and IP law (at the London School of Economics and Political Science and at the Peking University). After the degree, Francesca did a traineeship for 18 months at the Milan Court, in the Section specialized in Competition law.
Since September 2016, Francesca is a Ph.D. candidate in European law and she conducts a research focusing on the principle of loyal cooperation in EU competition law. Francesca is performing her Ph.D. in co-tutorship at two research institutions, Università degli Studi di Milano and, in Paris, Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. She was accepted at the Trinity College (Dublin) for a period of collaboration and research, with the LERU Law Ph.D. Exchange Scheme.
